I think God would have been in a really bad mood decided to come up with something called math to trouble us! I’ve spent days working on this algebra problem which relates to which is the decimal equivalent of the mixed number 3 3/6 and I still can’t solve it. I’m particularly having problems with long division, decimals and fractional exponents. Can anyone show me the way on how to go about solving such problems? I’ve tried all ways that I could think of, but none helped. I need some urgent help now. Anybody?

I’m quite familiar in which is the decimal equivalent of the mixed number 3 3/6. However, it’s quite complicated to explain it. I may help you answer it but since the solution is complex, I doubt you will really understand the whole process of solving it so it’s recommended that you really have to ask someone to explain it to you in person to make the explaining clearer. Good thing is that there’s this software that can help you with your problems. It’s called Algebrator and it’s an amazing piece of program because it does not only show the answer but it also shows the process of solving it. How cool is that?

Friends , Thanks a lot for the responses that you have given . I just had a look at the Algebrator available at: http://www.graph-inequality.com/graphing-systems-of-linear-equat.html. The best part that I liked was the money back guarantee that they are extending there. I went ahead and bought Algebrator. It is really user friendly and proves to be a noteworthy tool for Intermediate algebra.

Well, you don’t need to wait any longer. Go to http://www.graph-inequality.com/graphs-of-rational-functions.html and get yourself a copy for a very small price. Good luck and happy learning!
