calculate 0.3 second function tan

Hi! Our class just started doing a new chapter in math regarding calculate 0.3 second function tan and I did well for most assignments we had but the latest one my teacher gave really complicated so I'd appreciate if somebody would help me to understand it! It’s a problem solving homework my math teacher gave out this day and it’s due next week and I tried doing it but still can’t get it right. I just can’t answer it easily unlike the other homeworks . I had an easy time answering my past homeworks but this particular homework with specific topic of syntehtic division just gives me difficulty just discovering how to begin. I’m desperately in need of help. I’ll really appreciate if somebody help me in explaining the steps and how to solve it in a organized and clear way.

What exactly don't you understand about calculate 0.3 second function tan? I recall having difficulty with the same thing in College Algebra, so I might be able to give you some advice on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should get Algebrator, that's what I did in my Basic Math, and I have to say it's so cool! It's much cheaper than a private teacher and you can work with it anytime you want . It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever tried a similar program. I would advise you to get it as soon as you can and forget about getting a algebra teacher. You won't regret it!
