Posted: Friday 29th of Dec 20:10 Hi everyone, I heard that there are certain software that can help with us studying ,like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can aid me with math? I have never tried one before , but they are probably not hard to use I suppose . If anyone tried such a software , I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in College Algebra now, so I've been studying things like simplifying square roots with only variables and it's not easy at all.

Posted: Sunday 31st of Dec 19:14 The attitude you’ve adopted towards the simplifying square roots with only variables is not the right one. I do understand that one can’t really think of something else in such a scenario . Its nice that you still want to try. My key to successful equation solving is Algebrator I would advise you to give it a try at least once.

Posted: Tuesday 02nd of Jan 08:29 I might be able to help if you can send more details regarding your problems. Alternatively you may also check out Algebrator which is a great piece of software that helps to solve math questions . It explains everything systematically and makes the topics seem very simple . I must say that it is indeed worth every single penny.

Excuse one for being a little skeptical , but do either of you know if anyone can find a test version to use this ?

Posted: Thursday 04th of Jan 08:19 I remember having problems with long division, algebraic signs and graphing equations. Algebrator is a really great piece of math software. I have used it through several algebra classes - Algebra 1, Algebra 2 and College Algebra. I would simply type in the problem from a workbook and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
