difference between linear equations and functions

Hi fellow students , I heard that there are certain programs that can help with us doing our homework,like a tutor substitute. Is this really true? Is there a software that can help me with algebra ? I have never tried one thus far , but they shouldn't be hard to use I suppose . If anyone tried such a program, I would really appreciate some more detail about it. I'm in Basic Math now, so I've been studying things like difference between linear equations and functions and it's not easy at all.

Can you please be more detailed as to what sort of assistance you are expecting to get. Do you want to get the principles and work on your math questions on your own or do you want a utility that would give you a line by line solution for your math problems?

Greetings, I am in Basic Math and I purchased Algebrator recently . It has been so much easier since then to do my algebra homework! My grades also got much better. In other words, Algebrator is splendid and this is exactly what you were looking for!

I am really very thankful to you all for directing me to Algebrator. The quick formula list and the detailed explanations on the fundamentals given there were really understandable. I remember having often faced problems with x-intercept, graphing parabolas and linear inequalities. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem homework a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many algebra classes – Intermediate algebra, Algebra 1 and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
