Hi there I have almost taken the decision to hire a math tutor , because I've been having a lot of stress due to math homework recently . Every day when I come home from school I spend all the afternoon with my math homework, and in the end I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not completely sure whether a algebra tutor is worth it, since it's really expensive, and who knows, maybe it's not even so good . Does anyone know anything about how to solve rational and radical equations that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding triangle similarity, midpoint of a line or greatest common factor? Any ideas will be valued. |

What exactly don't you understand about how to solve rational and radical equations? I remember having problem with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I think I could try to give you some advice on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 2, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's much cheaper than a tutor and you can count on it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever had a similar software . I would advise you to purchase it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it! |

I too have had problems in unlike denominators, rational expressions and interval notation. I was informed that there are a number of programs that I could try out. I tried out several but then the finest that I found was Algebrator. Simply keyed in the problem and hit the ‘solve’. I got the response instantly . Additionally , I was steered through to the answer by an easily understandable step-by-step process . I have relied on this program for my difficulties with College Algebra, Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. If I were you, I would without doubt go for this Algebrator. |

I advise trying out Algebrator. It not only assists you with your math problems, but also gives all the required steps in detail so that you can improve the understanding of the subject. |
