My son has used Algebrator through his high-school, and it seems he will be taking it to college as well (thanks for the free update, by the way). Learning algebra on a computer may not seem like the appropriate way, but this software is so easy even a sixth-grader can learn algebra.
I recommend the Algebrator to students who need help with fractions, equations and algebra. The program is a great tool! Not only does it give you the answers but it also shows you how and why you come up with those answers. Ive shown my students how to use the program during some of our lessons.
