word problems with fractions

Hello there I have almost taken the decision to look fora algebra tutor , because I've been having a lot of problems with algebra homework lately . Every day when I come home from school I waste all my time with my algebra homework, and after all the time spent I still seem to be getting the incorrect answers. However I'm also not certain whether a math tutor is worth it, since it's very costly , and who knows, maybe it's not even that good . Does anyone know anything about word problems with fractions that can help me? Or maybe some explanations regarding function range,difference of squares or gcf? Any suggestions will be much appreciated .

I checked up a number of software programs before I decided on Algebrator. This was the most suitable for side-angle-side similarity, gcf and quadratic formula. It was easy to key in the problem. Instead of just giving the solution, it took me through all the steps explaining all the way until it reached the solution. By the time, I reached the answer I learnt how to go about it on my own . I used the program for working out my problems in Remedial Algebra, Intermediate algebra and College Algebra in algebra . Do you think that you will like to try this out?

radicals, difference of squares and leading coefficient were a nightmare for me until I found Algebrator, which is really the best algebra program that I have ever come across. I have used it frequently through several math classes – Intermediate algebra, Basic Math and Basic Math.
