investigatory problems in math

I'm just thinking if someone can give me a few tips here so that I can understand the concepts behind investigatory problems in math. I find solving problems really difficult. I work part time and thus have no time left to take extra classes. Can you guys suggest any online tool that can assist me with this subject?

What exactly don't you understand about investigatory problems in math? I remember having difficulty with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I think I could try to give you some suggestions on how to handle such problems. However if you want help with algebra on a long term basis, then you should purchase Algebrator, that's what I did in my Algebra 2, and I have to say it's the best ! It's less expensive than a private teacher and you can use it anytime you feel like. It's very easy to use it , even if you never ever tried a similar program. I discovered a number of software programs that are pertinent . I tried them out. The Algebrator seemed to be the best suitable one for algebra formulas, dividing fractions and radicals. It was also uncomplicated to work with . It took me step by step towards the solution rather than only giving the answer . That way I got to learn how to crack the problems too. By the time I was done with it , I had learnt how to explain the problems. I found them handy with Intermediate algebra, Intermediate algebra and Basic Math which aided me in my math classes. May be, this is just what you need . Why not try this out?

Algebrator is the program that I have used through several math classes - Algebra 1, Pre Algebra and Algebra 1. It is a really a great piece of algebra software. I remember of going through difficulties with binomial formula, trigonometric functions and adding matrices. I would simply type in a problem from the workbook , click on Solve – and step by step solution to my math homework. I highly recommend the program.
