Hi math lovers , I heard that there are various programs that can help with us doing our homework, like a teacher substitute. Is this really true? Is there a program that can assist me with algebra ? I have never tried one before , but they shouldn't be hard to use I suppose . If anyone has such a software , I would really appreciate some more information about it. I'm in Pre Algebra now, so I've been studying things like practice worksheets for college algebra equations and it's not easy at all.

What exactly don't you understand about practice worksheets for college algebra equations? I recall having difficulty with the same thing in Intermediate algebra, so I think I could try to give you some ideas on how to approach such problems. However if you want help with math on a long term basis, then you should try out Algebrator, that's what I did in my Remedial Algebra, and I have to say it's amazing ! It's less expensive than a tutor and you can use it anytime you want . It's not hard to use it, even if you never ever had a similar program. I would advise you to buy it as soon as you can and forget about getting a math teacher. You won't regret it!

Algebrator is very useful, but please never use it for copy pasting solutions. Use it as a guide to understand and clear your concepts only.

I remember having often faced problems with graphing lines, angle complements and converting fractions. A truly great piece of math program is Algebrator software. By simply typing in a problem from workbook a step by step solution would appear by a click on Solve. I have used it through many math classes – Algebra 1, Remedial Algebra and Remedial Algebra. I greatly recommend the program.
